"I would like to nominate Coach Garrett Turley of the Brown division 14U Chargers for coach of the year. From what I understand, this is his first year head coaching but you wouldn’t be able to tell. He looks like a pro out on the field. He is very patient with the kids and personable with the parents and referees. He promotes teamwork and the kids have displayed that this season. Flag football has a different set of rules, but has handled the transition beautifully and makes game plan adjustments as necessary. He gets all the players involved and makes sure they get their time to shine. I appreciate all he has done to make our regular season unforgettable and I am looking forward to making a Super Bowl run with this awesome team and coaching staff!"
